The idea of establishing a healthcare facility in Ghitorni took root during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this time of crisis, Mr. Narender Kumar, along with his son Dr. Robin Lohia and daughter-in-law Dr. Vandna Kasana Lohia, led a team of local volunteers to provide free medical care to the fear-stricken community of South Delhi’s Ghitorni. This initiative not only brought relief to hundreds but also planted the seed for a much-needed medical center in an area lacking essential healthcare services and qualified doctors.
Driven by this vision, Dr. Robin Lohia and Dr. Vandna Kasana began their medical journey at community level with Vandna Child Care and Family Clinic, where they served the Ghitorni community for over three years, treating more than 1,000 pediatric and adult OPDs.
