Shivam Hospital, located in Ghitorni, New Delhi, is a renowned multispecialty healthcare facility committed towards providing high-quality medical services across various specialties . Founder and MD, Mr. Narender Kumar, a retired Indian Naval Officer, laid the foundation of Shivam hospital on 6th October 2024 with a vision to serve the community and stated that “Health is for all”.
The idea of establishing a healthcare facility in Ghitorni took root during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this time of crisis, Mr. Narender Kumar, along with his son Dr. Robin Lohia and daughter-in-law Dr. Vandna Kasana Lohia, led a team of local volunteers to provide free medical care to the fear-stricken community of South Delhi’s Ghitorni. This initiative not only brought relief to hundreds but also planted the seed for a much-needed medical center in an area lacking essential healthcare services and qualified doctors.
Driven by this vision, Dr. Robin Lohia and Dr. Vandna Kasana began their medical journey with Vandna Child Care and Family Clinic, where they served the Ghitorni community for over three years, treating more than 1,000 pediatric and adult OPDs
